Homework

Children will receive a piece of homework in their homework book on a Monday which is to be handed back into school by Friday. Please complete all homework in pencil. DOJO points will be awarded to homework that is completed to an exceptionally high standard.

SPELLING

Children will receive examples of spelling words that contain this weeks sound/pattern/rule to be practised at home. Although children will not be formally tested on these words, it is important that they can spell them independently and we will be using these words during the week and in an activity the following Monday.

Common exception words - each year group has a set of common exception words that children need to be able to spell by the end of the year.  We will be assessing 5 or 6 common exception words each Friday - see below.
